El Heraldo Negro
|
Assemblage of thoughtful critiques on past & current events that shape our world. I also use this space to comment on my research and other academic or professional work. The blog's name is intended to be a reference to the poem "Los Heraldos Negros" by the poet and intellectual César Vallejo; in the poem, the "Heraldos Negros" (Black Heralds) are the harbingers of difficult news. The purpose of this blog is to present thoughts and discussions about difficult problems in the world to help find a solution to them.
"Hay golpes en la vida, tan fuertes... ¡Yo no sé! — César Vallejo, Peruvian poet comments on the difficult moments of life. |

Dedicated to collecting, analyzing, and preserving music videos carefully selected for their quality and content. The idea for this space formed while exploring videos online and realizing some of the best live music content was hidden deep within search results. Later, I also began collecting videos that were important to retain due to their historic value, despite low audiovisual quality. I also provide a brief history of the songs featured in the videos, including their lyrics, the instruments, the genre, and their authors.
— José Santos Chocano, Peruvian poet writes about the pride for his diverse heritage. |
